In early 2024, we launched a new version of the Deep Time Walk Facilitator Training, with Robert Woodford and Olivier Maurel training a group of 18 new facilitators in Singapore.
Since then, we have grown the team of trainers to become a core team of seven: Mathilde Braddock, Phil Becquet, Lily Gros, Damien Vasse and Elodie Parent-Riquet. The training offers two learning pathways – Individual or Self-Employed/Employee – tailored to the different types of facilitators in our broad community.
In 2024, we trained six online cohorts – three in French, three in English – each with a dedicated learning space on our community network where trainees can interact and share tips through their training. Each cohort is given a more-than-human name, so we can now welcome the Trilobites, Cyanobacteria, Amphibians, Lichens, Earthworms and Whales the Deep Time Walk facilitator community! Feedback for these training courses has been excellent, with the training cohorts (across 2024) giving an average satisfaction rating of 9/10 and 99% recommending it to others in their network.
This comprehensive training programme is an exciting step for the Deep Time Walk Project as we grow our community of passionate facilitators, bringing the Deep Time Walk to new places around the world. We now have a facilitator community of over 500 people from 30 countries!

If you’d like to lead your own Deep Time Walks in 2025 – or brush up on your skills after some time away – we’d love you to join us!
