The latest version of the Deep Time Walk, which has just been released as a Gift Economy App, is dedicated to the inspiring UK barrister and visionary Polly Higgins who died earlier this year.

Polly, who is an alumni of Schumacher College, spent the last decade making the word “ecocide” globally understood by giving talks, making documentaries and advising governments. Along the way she inspired thousands, from parliamentarians to ecologists and from lawyers to artists. She devoted all her time and unquenchable spirit to one client – the Earth. Her vision to create a law of ecocide continues to gather pace and we encourage you to sign the stop.ecocide campaign and join a movement to support the one law that can change history.

All users of the Deep Time Walk App will find a link to sign the stop.ecocide campaign in the What’s Next section at the end of the walk – joining other recommended positive actions such as joining 350.org, starting a Transition Town, signing the Earth Charter, or participating in a non-violent action group such as Extinction Rebellion – all different ways to contribute to bringing about the much needed change in our world.
